In the early 1980s, she started her professional career, and was recognized for her role as Siobhan in the soap opera of the day Ryan's Hope between 1982 and the year 1986. Catherine Willows' role in CBS's procedural crime drama is the one she is best known for. Crime Scene Investigation from 2000-13 and Immortality (2005). Vegas is her sequel, and she has reprised this part since 2022. Helgenberger was also famous for his role as K.C. Koloski is well known for her performance in ABC's China Beach drama series (1988-91). She was awarded an Emmy Award of 1990 as Outstanding Supporting Artist in an Series Drama. The other shows she has appeared in include: TV series Under the Dome (1996), Species II (1998), Erin Brockovich (2000) as well as Mr. Brooks (2007). McCain is also an Daily Mail contributor after her three-year stint on The View. McCain also published four other books including America You Sexy Bitch, The Love Letter To Freedom and Bad Republican.
