Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico. She is an American Mexican actress. Also, she sings. Her mom raised her in the USA in a place where she endured several racial stereotypes, which made her feel like an unwanted person. After she participated in an event at school and was given great praise for her performance, in ninth grade, the girl began to gain confidence. The experience not only increased her confidence but was also a change in the direction in which she went on to pursue her career. At the age of 22, she graduated in the Julliard School of New York. In 1993 she made her Broadway debut with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was titled You've got Mail. Her biggest break came with the role of The Lady of The Lake in the original Broadway version of Spamalot. The show won her the Tony Award and received great praise for the role. The following year, she appeared as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy for ABC her role was given greater fame. Also, she is a well-known singer and has produced an extended show. She also works as an LGBT activist.
